Compliance team
Compliance Officer (Luxembourg)
Responsibilities:
Formulate and execute compliance and regulatory strategy, and apply requirements tothe business in an efficient and commercial way
Build and maintain existing compliance procedures in the company
Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities in relevant markets aroundthe world
Conduct periodical risks assessments in relation money laundering and terroristfinancing risks and advising the Board of Directors on necessary actions to mitigatethose risks
Develop and oversee internal procedures pertaining to merchant onboarding,monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting as per local regulations
Prepare reports for the board of directors, management team and external regulatorybodies (as appropriate) on regulatory, compliance and control matters
Be responsible for all reporting to regulatory bodies, especially to the CSSF
Cooperate in all compliance matters with Group Head of Compliance
Organization of AML Trainings for employees and retention of attendance records
Assistance in resolving AML/CTF issues escalated by AML or Risk Teams
Participation in risk reviews and customer termination decisions
Participate in Group-wide customer on-boarding process review and development
Participate in Group-wide transaction monitoring process review and development
Participate in Group-wide Fraud Prevention and Detection team establishment
Formulate and execute compliance and regulatory strategy and apply requirements tothe business in an efficient and commercial way
Requirements:
3+ years experience in the same role
Good relations and standing with Luxembourg regulator CSSF
Detailed knowledge of financial services industry, reasonable knowledge of regulation,operating practices and technology
Familiarity with automated transaction monitoring and onboarding tools used byfintechs
Ability to analyze data/compliance processes/compliance practices, draw conclusionsand make recommendations
Excellent oral/written communication, planning, project management, networking skills
Excellent partner management, relationship building and influencing skills at seniormanagement level
Investigative skills as well as the affinity for numbers and business contexts
Strongly responsible, solution-oriented way of working and a high level of commitment
Excellent knowledge of English required (other foreign languages are advantageousdue to the international nature of our clients)
